D-Link DSB H3ETX Ethernet Hub

The D-Link DSB-H3ETX is a combination 10/100 Ethernet Adapter and a 3 port USB Hub all in one easy to use device. You will note that this is the Windows XP driver. If you still have this D-Link hub then you can install this on your computer with Windows XP. If you are running something else then there is the ‘compatibility mode’ in the Windows OS. Installing the driver

This is an INF file and not a standard driver. There is a certain way to install this file. Download the file below and then extract the content. Inside you will find three files. You will need to right-click on the INF file (Dsbh3etx.inf) and then click on install. Windows will then popup and stats that it found new hardware. Note that Windows will call it the “ADMtek AN986 USB To Fast Ethernet Converter” or “D-Link DSB-H3ETX” when it installs the driver.

The driver for the hardware will now be install by Windows 7, 10 or Windows 11. Yes, its old hardware however the driver will still work across the different platforms. The IN installation is very easy as the hardware will shows a few seconds later.
