Longshine LCS-8131R Wireless

The Longshine LCS-8131R Wireless adapter driver uses what is called the “ZyDAS ZD1201 802.11b Wireless LAN” which is int he inside of the driver file. note that this driver will not work on any of the other Longshine products even though this is the “R” version for the adapter. This is the driver which runs on the Windows XP as well as the Windows 2000 as well as Windows 98. Also this is the ZD1201 USB 802.11b Wireless LAN card which you can install on the older operating systems which it was designed for. This is no different to the older drivers for the Longshine LCS-8131M as well as the Longshine LCS-8131G3. You can search this website for more information.

Installing Longshine LCS-8131R driver

You can install this driver on the Windows systems above as well as on the Windows 10 system. This can be done with the INF file in the driver file below. You can download the driver below and then extract the file. There are two directories in there and you will need to click on the Driver > Windows XP directory. In there you will fine a few files. As can be seen from the picture this is not a full driver. Simply right-click on the ZD1201UX.INF file. The new menu will show and then click on “install” in the menu. Windows will then show that it has found new hardware and install the driver for you. Its the same as the Longshine LCS-8131M and the Longshine LCS-8131G3.
